Jennifer Finney Boylan, author of Good Boy, at Boswell
The Wisconsin Humane Society and Boswell Book Company present a special evening with Jennifer Finney Boylan, New York Times opinion columnist, human rights activist, and author of Shes Not There and other books. Her new book, Good Boy, is a memoir of the transformative power of loving dogs.
Good Boy is a universal account of a remarkable story: showing how a young boy became a middle-aged woman - accompanied at seven crucial moments of growth and transformation by seven memorable dogs. Everything I know about love, she writes, I learned from dogs. Their love enables us pull to off what seem like impossible feats: to find our way home when we are lost, to live our lives with humor and courage, and above all, to best become our true selves.
This event is free, but registration is requested, and required if we reach capacity. Register at jenniferfinneyboylanmke.bpt or upgrade to a book for signing line priority. Choose the early pickup option and get 10% off the cost of the book. Please note restrictions on the ticketing website.
