ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:
BRIAN POWERS (headliner) Brian Powers, aka The Raging Parent™, is a nationally recognized stand-up comic whose act has always dealt with the comedic ironies of raising kids, being married and getting older. In Raging Parent™, he focuses his attention on finding the humor and meaning in being a parent as the kids grow from infants to adults whatever that means. Eventually coming to the conclusion that parenting is a rip-off and that kids tend to ruin what could have been a perfectly good life. As The Boston Herald states, Brian Powers regaled the audience with tales about a blue collar guy adjusting to mid-life, middle-class suburbia The Boston Globe writes that, the audience was coaxed into chortlesas Brian Powers takes a blue-collar-ish look at lifes myriad confusions and possesses uncanny timing and The Patriot Ledger adds, his tales sparked howling recognition from the crowd Since beginning his stand-up career with the Comedy Connection and Ding Ho comedy clubs in Boston, Brian has appeared in such nationally known clubs as The Improvisation in Los Angeles, The Punchline in Atlanta, The Other CafĂ© in San Francisco, Yuk-Yuks in Toronto, and Catch a Rising Star in NYC. He has also made numerous television appearances (such as on the A&E, Comedy Central and Showtime networks) and is regularly featured on radio stations throughout the areas (such as WZOU, WZLX, WBUR, WXKS, and WBZ)
GARY MARINO Bostons Gary Marino is a comedian, musician, published author, film-maker and live show producer. Marino appeared regularly on ABCs Live With Regis & Kelly, Fox News and over 300 radio stations nationwide. He has performed at Laugh Boston, Showcase Live at Gillette Stadium, Newport Grand Casino, Southeast Comedy Cabaret in NY and resorts such as Chatham Bars Inn, The Cape Codder and Seacrest Resorts among many other venues. Marino recently opened for acclaimed humorist and PBS Star Loretta LaRoche and hosts the Annual Cape Cod Comedy Festival as well. When not hosting shows, charity events and cooking competitions, Marino can be found playing drums, singing lead and background vocals, performing stand-up and writing sketches for an ensemble cast of funny musicians with his comedy band World Gone Crazy: Stand Up With A Rock & Roll Soundtrack! which has been touring New England since 2011. The group performs song parodies, impressions, fake commercials and audience interactive comedy routines. In the summer of 2016 Marino and World Gone Crazy had a weekly residency aboard the Music City Queen in Boston Harbor. His 2008 film Million Calorie March: The Movie won an Int'l "Freddie Media Award and a live satellite congratulations from U2s Bono! Marino and the band's comedy CD "Can't Rip This! Songs U Can't Steal on The Net!" is due in 2020
BRYSON LANG Bryson Lang has entertained thousands around the world with his creative, high-energy, family-friendly Comedy - Juggling act. His versatility as an entertainer has put him in hotel-casino shows, night clubs, corporate events, comedy clubs and theaters as well colleges, festivals and events overseas. Brysons show combines technical juggling skills with original comedy into a unique and unforgettable act. A World traveler, Bryson has performed in many countries including: Iceland, Bosnia, Norway, Japan, Germany, Canada, the U.K and all across the U.S. He has been featured in ten variety revue-shows including a year long contract in Tahoe, five months in Laughlin, a run in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, five weeks in Beijing, China and two months at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. In Television, Bryson was interviewed on a History Channel special, performed on two seasons of the, Masters of Illusion" series, won first place on the "Extreme Gong Show", and his skills were seen on the TV shows, "Charmed" and "That 70's Show". In Film, Bryson has appeared in, "Austin Powers II" and "Batman and Robin", starred in the independent film, The Boogeymans Birthday.
