Often compared to artists such as Joni Mitchell and Mary Chapin
Carpenter, Meg Hutchinson is an NPR and XM/ Sirius Radio favorite. Her
deeply poetic lyrics, influenced by favorite writers Mary Oliver and
Robert Frost, along with her intimate singing style, create have a
strong emotional pull. In recent years Meg has found a new role as an
advocate for the mentally ill, both speaking and singing at
prestigious conferences across North America. Her new album, "Beyond
That" released in September 2013, delivers a collection of celebratory
hymns from a woman who has made it out the other side of some
difficult years and who is inviting us to go "Beyond That" with her
now.
