Heronswood Classes: Propagation III: Softwood Cuttings
The third class in Heronswood's series on plant propagation will cover softwood cuttings. Taking softwood cuttings can be an excellent way to propagate rare or unusual woody plants in your garden, but understanding the timing and technique is crucial to success. This class will cover the proper methods of taking and rooting softwood cuttings including the best plants to propagate from, the right tools and materials to use, proper timing, and how to pot up rooted cuttings. The cost of this class covers instruction and materials for a hands-on propagation lesson. A portion of this class will be held outside; please dress accordingly.
