Out of the Box Theatre Co. presents Separate Tables by Terence Rattigan
Out of the Box Theatre Company presents Terence Rattigan's drama Separate Tables.  Made up of two separate but connected one-act plays, Separate Tables takes place in a residential hotel near Bournemouth, England, in the 1950s.  This Equity Showcase production will be co-directed by Lin Snider and Justin Bennett.  

The first play, "Table by the Window," focuses on the toxic but addicting love/hate relationship between a divorced couple.  The second play, "Table Number Seven," which takes place a year and a half later, deals with the friendship between a repressed spinster and a retired army officer that threatens to come apart when the officer's secret life is revealed.  The other characters, residents and staff of the hotel, appear in both plays, with their friendships, frustrations, ambitions, heartaches and intrigues on display.

This production of Separate Tables will use Rattigan's original dialogue, which he was forced to change for performance because of English law prohibiting any on-stage mention of "illicit" sexuality.
