Healthcare Committee Project Presentation
Presentation and discussion covering design of freestanding ED and code requirements to improve the healthcare environment. Participants will learn how to improve the healing environment through better aligned project planning and design, exploration of the complexity for designing and planning a new emergency department setting, and helping the owner navigate the complexity of the building code along with reimbursement from CMS. A primary focus of the session is on designing for Freestanding Emergency Departments.
