Planting Below Ground
Imbolc, the time of year midway between the winter solstice and the vernal equinox is an especially auspicious time for creation. Considered the source-point of the whole year, it is the time when we have been able to shed enough of the residue of the prior year to be able to look forward and bring our awareness to this new life cycle. Associated with poetry, divination, and aligning the inner and outer worlds, it is considered a time of initiation, and of opening our intuition to our possible futures and dreams.
In Planting Below Ground, we will drop into this deeper source, and listen for how to root these dreams so that they can naturally come to fruition. As we will meet ourselves fully, we can experience an unconditioned beginning, offering us original gifts and insights.
We will follow our intentions made earlier in the year in the fire of inspiration, as they meet new cycles and seasons, and listen for how they may want to adapt now that they have their own momentum. Using writing, drawing, embodied play and guided meditation, we can disrupt our habits, and attune to our freshest responses that are true and genuine.
It is also my hope that in the intimacy and safety of each other, we will also discover a new response of collective medicine that is vital to this moment we are each in, individually and as community.
"Thank you so much dear heart for holding such a safe, strong and beautiful container a pelvic bowl cauldron in which the silence and sounds allowed us all to dive deep and emerge altered and changed from the richness of the experience. It is hard to express in words just how powerful it was to be part of the circle, and the silence, with women who were not afraid to show up and open up fully to the experience." Pasha Hogan, Author/Teacher/Guide, Santa Fe
Join me for an afternoon of silence and stillness, guided meditation, embodied play, deep listening, mapping within a supportive circle of co-conspirators as we each return to the guidance of our inner compass bringing us home to ourselves and what wants to emerge for us.
Facilitated by JUDY HERZL, facilitator, thinking partner, and coach. She is also a writer, artist, and author mentor. She draws guidance and healing from stories and is grateful to many who have shared their story wisdom with her including storyteller, Laura Simms and author, Sharon Blackie.
