Stas and Misha
Stas Vanlevski and Misha Litvin are musically stunning with a wonderful stage presence and incredible rapport with the audience. Their music ranges from classical, Russian folk and traditional. Stas plays the Bayan (a Russian version of the accordion) and has toured extensively as a soloist throughout the former Soviet Union, Canada, Europe and the US. His shows include numerous performances with Doc Severinsen Steve Allen, and Garrison Keillor (Prairie Home Companion). Additionally, Stas has performed with symphony orchestras throughout the US. Misha is a Master Mandolinist and guru of the Domra (Russian Mandolin). He has soloed with numerous chamber orchestras in Russia, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, France ad the US. Misha is a professor of mandolin at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and originally from Minsk, Belarus. Misha also holds a masters degree in orchestra conducting and music education from the Belarus Conservatory. They have also performed together internationally.
