Parenting the Anxious Child
Parenting the Anxious Child can be daunting and debilitating. At least ten percent of children have excessive fears and worries, phobias, separation anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive disorder that can hold them back and keep them from fully enjoying childhood. If your child suffers from any of these forms of anxiety, this workshop is for you.
Join Dr. Michael Johnson and Dr. Jan Snyder as they discuss the dos and dont's of how to handle children when they are anxious. We will also use the tools of mindfulness and acceptance, which can teach children with anxiety, skills they can use throughout their lives.
