Donburi translates to "big bowl". These quick and easy to make Japanese dishes consist of steamed rice and a variety of delectable toppings. Sawako will demonstrate two of the most authentic and popular donburi: guy-don - teriyaki beef and oyako-don - chicken & egg. She will also share a modern plant-based avocado-don recipe and each student will create their own. Once you master the basics, you can easily create your own unique donburi for simple weeknight meals.

This is a hands-on class.
Students will enjoy a sample of each recipe and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to those 21 and over.
Cancellation Policy: Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice.
Complimentary parking is available for students in the Co-ops parking garage at 28th & S streets. Please do not park in the lot in front of the store.
