Learn three sauces that are the base for countless classic kitchen concoctions. If you've ever been curious about French sauces, this course will lay out the foundations for you in a simple and fun way. Dave will demonstrate velouté, espagnole, and bechamel and how and when to use each. He'll also discuss making a roux and how to thicken your sauces plus countless other tips and tricks to help you master sauce making. Instructor: Dave Nelson
This is a demonstration style class.
Students will enjoy a sample of each recipe and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to those 21 and over.
Cancellation Policy: Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice.
Complimentary parking is available for students in the Co-ops parking garage at 28th & S streets. Please do not park in the lot in front of the store.
