Little Lotte Grimm is curious about a story her famous brothers have just collected: it doesn't have an ending. You can't just make one up! her brothers tell her. Lotte won't let that stop her, but finishing a fairy tale is easier said than done. Stories have a mind of their own...
In this solo production, fifteen table top puppets and paper marionettes come to life in an enchanting world that combines history, books, and fairy tales with old-school theatre magic.
Kris Fleerackers is a puppeteer and puppet builder living and working in Gibsons BC, on Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) territory. He has a background in theatre and public television production and studied puppetry in Vancouver, Victoria, Banff, Toronto, and New York.
The show is 45 minutes, with a 15 minute Q&A afterwards for those who wish to stay. Presented by Falada Puppet Works at Cranberry Hall, Powell River:
