Heronswood Classes: Propagation I: Division and Root Cuttings
In the first of a four part series on plant propagation, Heronswood founder and Garden Director Dan Hinkley will lead a lecture and hands-on demonstration dealing with the techniques of plant propagation by perennial division and root cuttings. Though he will share with the students the methods used on a nursery scale, attendees will also learn how to translate his recommendations to a less expensive, more informal "home gardener" format. The cost of this class covers instruction and materials for a hands-on propagation lesson.
