Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Concert (Dress Rehearsal)
Special opportunity just for autism and similar special needs families!
Friday, November 8, 2019, meet at main entrance to the CPA (off Almaden Blvd) at 7.15pm.
Where: San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, 255 Almaden Blvd.
What: Symphony Silicon Valley dress rehearsal of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince™ in Concert. Relive the adventure of a curious plot afoot at Hogwarts™ and a new Gryffindor™ Keeper, soaring across the big screen in high-definition! Experience the music of a live symphony orchestra performing the unforgettable score to the sixth film of the Harry Potter™ Series.
NOTE: This rehearsal will not feature the film in its entirety, but most of itparts the symphony needs to rehearse.
Who can register?
--We are assembling a small group of families who cannot attend regular performances due to autism-related behaviors. If your child is mildly affected and can attend a regular performance you may not register for this event.
--Max 4 tickets per family (parents and siblings are welcome)
--This event is best suited for individuals who enjoy symphonic music
--This film contains dark themes and frightening scenes. No young children! 13 and up only. Please do not register if your child is sensitive to loud noises and tense scenes. This is not a "sensory-friendly" event.
Registration is required. No tickets at the door. Registration is free but we are asking donations of $10 per person at the door. All donations will be given to the Symphony.
We will meet at the main entrance to the CPA (off Almaden Blvd) at 7.15pm. Late arrivals will not be seated.
