==================== What is Sing For Your Life? ==================== The day before New Years Eve, we'll gather to sing out the old year and set our intentions for the new one, with nonstop singing for a full 12 hours, noon to midnight. Folks come and go throughout the day, with the facilitators changing and offering up their inspirations. As always, our friends from SoVoSó hold the core, and will be joined by guests from near and far.
Bring a friend, meet new friends, and together create some special memories for 2020 and beyond. If you're new to CircleSinging and want to know more about it, this is a great way to find out!
All are welcome to join the circle and sing -- no experience necessary, just the willingness to listen and sing with joy.
======================= How does CircleSinging work? ======================= CircleSinging is "music of the moment," lead by members of the a capella ensemble, SoVoSó, and other special guests. Standing in the center of the community circle, the facilitator will start by pulling music out of the air. Once they've got a groove, they'll hand it off to a section of the choir to repeat, then conjure up other musical phrases for other sections, building a spontaneous, layered composition. Together, the facilitator and choir create beautiful, interlocking, rhythmic music that lifts the spirit and fills the room with joy.
=============== Volunteer -- it's fun! =============== An hour or two of your time at the event helps ensure its success. Please email volunteer@circlesing.org, or sign up here: http://bit.ly/SFYL2019Volunteers
