Organic Veggie Gardening 101 Essential Fall & Winter Prep
Nick Mancini, UConn master gardener, author of The Complete Organic Garden, and currently the guiding light at the Grace Farms community garden, will share his accumulated wisdom from decades of growing both fruits and vegetables organically. In this Pollinator Pathway Series talk, Nick will explain the fall and winter must dos to have a successful organic veggie garden next summer. Spring is too late to start preparing for an organic garden, Nick says. Nick has taught organic gardening for UConn master gardeners, at Norwalk Community College, Fairfield and Westport Continuing Education, and has lectured to the CT Northeast Organic Farmers Association, garden clubs, and libraries throughout the region.
