The Lavender Rights Project presents our 2nd Annual LGBTQ Art Auction, featuring a silent auction on art pieces submitted by local LGBTQ artists from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Proceeds from the event benefit local artists and the Lavender Rights Project, contributing to our ability to provide sliding scale legal services to low-income queer and trans people across Washington.
Tickets include one (1) free drink or raffle ticket and an hors d'oeuvres buffet.
Happy Hour drink specials from 5:30-6:30pm
Silent auction starts at 6:00pm
Visit our full site for more information about the Art Auction and month-long LGBTQ Artist Showcase:
Sliding scale tickets range from $0-$24. General tickets can be purchased at $25, and folks who can afford to do so are encouraged to spend what is comfortable for them above this general ticket price. All ticket sales will benefit the Lavender Rights Project.
Lavender Rights Project is committed to creating a space that is accessible for queer and trans people, especially those at the intersections of anti-blackness, xenophobia, and racism; disability; and/or low-income status.
The event space has double doors at the entrance and does not require steps. There are two private gender neutral bathrooms, one of which has a grab bar. While we cannot guarantee a fragrance-free event, we ask attendees not to wear perfumes or other scents that may impact folks with fragrance sensitivities.
We have multiple opportunities to participate without financial obligation and encourage people of all economic backgrounds to attend.
*More accessibility specifics, as well as public transportation and parking information, will be available on www.lavenderrightsproject.org/art closer to the event.
Lavender Rights Project advances a more just and equitable society by providing low-cost civil legal services and community education centered in values of social justice for trans and queer low-income people and other marginalized communities.
Through direct representation and community engagement, our by-and-for services are radically re-imagining the legal landscape for LGBTQ people while building community resilience, encouraging self-advocacy, and asserting the rights of marginalized populations.
