Village Playback Theatre presents, THE SKIN YOU'RE IN
For all of us, navigating through life is informed by our skin tone, whether or not we are aware of it. Were taught at an early age that all people are equal and that opportunities are available for everyone. Yet, many Americans face life challenges that others dont, based entirely on the color of their skin and the assumptions society has assigned to skin shade. Today, we see increasing division because of these differences. We invite audience members to share experiences about living in their skin or listen deeply to others share their experiences as we attempt to decrease the divisions among us.
