Singer-songwriter Jonatha Brooke delves into her rich catalogue for an exclusive "evening with" at the BLB!
"It's exciting to go back and resurrect some of the gems I haven't played in a while," Brooke says. "They're like my kids... I hate to leave anyone behind! So it's gonna be all the hits, all night long!"
Fans of her early 90s band The Story will be thrilled. Beloved songs like "Ten Cent Wings" and "Steady Pull" will be on the docket, as well as new songs from her latest album releases, "Midnight. Hallelujah" and "Imposter."
She'll also delve into the intimate theater of her critically acclaimed Off Broadway show, My Mother Has 4 Noses.
"Music is how I make sense of the world," Brooke adds. "Sometimes I don't even know what I feel or how I will proceed until I've distilled it into a story in song form. Especially in this crazy atmosphere. Music saves me and grounds me."
Brooke is also working on two new musicals and may share some fledgling tunes that are still in the works. Don't miss it.
