Moon Dragon for Under 1's
Bertie the Moon Dragon is having a terrible day! Nothing is at it should be. However, all is not yet lost, as with the help of the audience and some wonderful puppet characters along the way, Bertie can ensure that the night will be saved, and all can return to be just as it should be.
This original preschool production is a must for under 1's this Christmas. The audience interacts throughout the show with a magical bag of props which includes; lights, sensory toys and fun age appropriate percussion to add to the magic of the story. Something for the whole family to enjoy for the festive season.
Moon Dragon is the first production by Dragon Song Productions, a specialist childrens theatre company based in Edinburgh writing and performing exclusively for baby and preschool audiences. The Company are passionate about bringing live music and visual storytelling to young audiences in age appropriate shows. With the help of beautiful puppets by Raggedy Rouge, catchy original music written by the amazing Scottish harpist Corrina Hewat, Moon Dragon truly captures the imagination of the audience whilst ensuring that toes tap all the way home for children and adults alike.
Moon Dragon premiered at the Pleasance for the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe to rave reviews with 47 of the 56 shows sold out.

When it comes to interactive, sensory baby shows Moon Dragon ticks all the boxes! With everything from singalongs and music making, to a giant blanket fort tilled with magical light up wands and glowing stars. On arrival we were greeted by relaxing harp music, a gorgeous dragon puppet curled up asleep on the stage and a sensory bag full of surprise for our wee one to explore during the performance. One thing I do have to warn you about this show, however, is that you will be humming all the songs for days to come!

Really enjoyed this show, thank you, it was great to have something on specifically for U1s and our baby loved it, especially the frog, bubbles, maracas and all the lights!
