Cooking is a skill that can be developed over a lifetime. Young people aged 10-15 get a head start in our fun, hands-on classes. We use high quality ingredients; learning essential cooking skills and techniques along the way. We will learn to use a whole roasted chicken to make chicken enchiladas. Students will make food to enjoy together at the end of class. They will also prepare extra food to share with the clients at the River City Food Bank.

Ages 10-15

This is the first in a hands-on series of cooking classes. Classes will build on each other from week to week, but they may be taken individually.

Please register for children only. Parents are expected to drop children off and pick them up at the end of class.

Complimentary parking is available for students in the Co-op's parking garage at 28th & S streets. Please do not park in the lot in front of the store.

Cancellation Policy: Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice.
