10th Annual Sisters of Fire
Join the Women of Color Resource Center for another spectacular year celebrating the achievements of women rooted in social justice, creating a rising tide of change.
This year we will honor
Asian Immigrant Women Advocates, for paving the way for immigrant Women to fight for dignity and justice in their working and living conditions. Favianna Rodriguez, Artist and co-founder of Tumis, Inc. and the East Side Arts Alliance for igniting political activism through art.
Loretta Ross, National Coordinator, Sister Song for her ground-breaking efforts on reproductive justice in women of color communities.
Graciela I. Sanchez, Director, Esperanza Peace and Justice Center for sharing her vision of hope to build a stronger civil rights and economic justice movement.

Emcee Bushra Rehman, Brooklyn-Based Pakistani Poet & Co-editor of Colonize This! Young Women of Color on Today's Feminism
Featuring Performances from Mystic, Hip hop artist Kaylah Marin, Singer-songwriter Dhol Rhythms, Bhangra dance ensemble Sistah's of the Drum, African American women's healing drumming group
