Sue Walden:
Sue is an original founding member of AIN, and the founder of ImprovWorks! She is a Consultant / Trainer / Program Designer / Speaker and Author of Working With Groups to Enhance Relationships
Chris Miller:
Chris is the co-founder of Lifeplays and has been performing, teaching, and coaching improv for nearly 20 years, bringing the collaborative skills embedded in Improv to Google, Microsoft, Genentech, Infineon, Nugen, and other forward thinking companies.
The evening:
"Yes, And..." is one of the great gifts of Improv. It works wonderfully on stage, BUT how do you work with it in Applied Improv when the answer is No?
Communicating the value and power of "Yes, And" to clients can be a real challenge, especially the left-brain, analytical groups. The solution to by-passing resistance is surprisingly simple.
Sue Walden will share a way to communicate one of our core values/skills, the "Yes, And", so that it doesn't activate resistance in clients. In addition, you will participate in an exercise that can help our clients experience the function and appropriate use of the "Yes, And" This exercise also offers a tool to access the process and mindset at any time.
Chris Miller will present a module he calls the "Ninja No, But..." that he has taught in the eMBA program at USF.
