Carrie Tree & Keith Ellis - Canoe Tour - Rosehill Tavern - Brighton
Singer-songwriter Carrie Tree & multi-instrumentalist Keith Ellis team up to perform songs from Carrie's intricately-crafted new album 'The Canoe' with voice, guitar, piano & clarinet. Traveling alongside them on this album release tour is the question 'What does the river say?'
They hold an intention to bring a deeper appreciation of the local rivers, waterways and subtle ecosystems of both the land, and of the rivers within ourselves. Spending deep immersion time with canoe and river, sleeping out under the stars, and tapping into the feeling of a quest or pilgrimage, they bring fresh stories and local tales of the river to each concert. The songs from The Canoe are written from an inner river. Delicate, soulful melodies to dive into, swim in and explore.
Joining us at this concert will be a special guest and river oracle reminding us how the river world has the power to re-enchant and re-balance our thirsty spirits.
