After a three-year hiatus from music, New York based singer/songwriter Paul Michell returns for an unforgettable night of music in the town he still calls home. Minneapolis based songstress Nina Luna opens the show.
Paul Michell is a Brooklyn based piano pop singer/songwriter with strong Minneapolis roots. Paul cut his teeth in the Twin Cities music scene for over two decades, and has released three albums (Wake Me Up - 2012, We Keep on Dreaming - 2014 and Break the Fall - 2016). The singles "These Days" and "Breathing Underwater" from We Keep On Dreaming charted on several radio playlists across the country as well as airplay on over 120 radio stations across the USA and Canada. Two of those records were produced with Minneapolis producer Owen Sartori at F5 Soundhouse, which Michell calls "a real turning point in [his] career." Influenced by both contemporaries such as Bleachers, Sara Bareilles, Bon Iver, and Brandon Flowers, Michell is also influenced by classic singers and songwriters such as Tori Amos, Sting, George Michael, Joni Mitchell and Carole King. After taking a three-year hiatus from performing and recording due to strenuous health and personal issues, Michell is returning to his craft and is delighted to share new songs, reworked fan favorites, and stories for a very special evening in the city he still calls home.

Nina Luna is a pop singer-songwriter who has been writing, recording, producing and performing original music since she was 14. Originally from Minneapolis, she relocated to NYC in 2009 to attend NYU and pursue a career in music. Combining folk, electro, pop, and R&B influences, her music has been written up on a number of popular music blogs, been played on The Current's Local Show and featured on Spotify's editorial playlists.
