The MOB Event
Hip hop lives. . . in Boulder. Through music and dance, word and image, hip hop provides creative people with the tools to express themselves on a global stage. Rap music recently surpassed rock, pop, and country to become the most popular musical genre in the world. Come find out what all the fuss is about. Join us for an evening with the Australian rapper and DJ Nelson Dialect. Nelson will be spinning new and classic hip hop under the stars on the Museums roof deckand he might even get on the mic. Tickets are $15 dollars and get you admission to the event as well as one drink (we have a signature cocktail as well as a selection of beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages). The evening is brought to you by the Museum of Boulder in conjunction with the CUs RAP Lab and the Department of Theater & Dance. Doors open at 6:45.
