Straight On Till Morning
Pierce has invited a dozen of his old friends for a party at his family's house. High school ended a decade ago, and they've all been out in the world a while, so for many it's a reunion (for others, more like a confrontation). Imagine Peter Pan's Lost Boys, add 20 years, a keg of beer, the conundrum of adulthood and a bong named Hal. It's about a specific place and time, a generation stutter-stepping into adulthood in an increasingly disconnected social climate, where the rules of the game seem to keep shifting. It's a character film, a comedy, a fairy tale.
