When: The show will run May 5, 6 & 11, 12, 13. Curtain is at 8PM and the show
lasts about two and a half hours.

Elegant Absurdity is an evening of new dance works by Andre Bouchard, Sarah
Parton, Naomi Russell and Erica Stelzenmuller, with special guests Judy Greeson
& Shannon Hobbs set to original music compositions by Seth Littlefield, Vinny
Smith and Pearson Wallace-Hoyt and with live musical accompaniment by Pearson
Wallace-Hoyt and Friends.
This show is work that is aware of itself: modern dance, jazz dance, and
performance art that span a broad diversity of styles and aesthetic approaches.
For your enjoyment and contemplation, we will present seven original dance works
engaging a tongue-in-cheek
style and wide-awake self-awareness. Utilizing live music and a breathtaking
collage of different viewpoints, Elegant Absurdity seeks to move you, entertain
you, and touch you.
WALRUS Performance Productions is a not-for-profit company that sustains
dedicated choreographers and performing artists so that they can produce
vulnerable, risky, and poignant work. WALRUS has a resident dance company of
seven members and commissions original work from local choreographers and
composers for its twice annual show.
