MMA Improv: Labor of Love!
Anchorage-based MMA Improv wants to make you tap out this Labor Day -- with laughter!
Start out your Labor Day weekend Saturday night with MMA Improv's latest dinner show, Labor of Love, where MMA will be serving up live, local improv at Gallos on Old Seward with a side of poetry. And, oh yeah -- there's also a buffet!
The MMA Improv players create scenes based on audience suggestions and using a range of improvisation games--similar to those made popular by TV shows such as "Whose Line is it Anyway?"
Formed in September 2017, the Mostly Melanin Arts ensemble includes local singers, dancers, poets, and comics. Onstage, they put those skills together as a team, delighting in creating new worlds and experiences for audiences to enjoy.
Bring your friends and fill a table to watch these improvisational performers match wits, as they make up scenes or perform slams -- live and on the spot!
Ticket price INCLUDES a buffet. Drinks and additional menu items will also be available for purchase.
DOORS OPEN AT 7:30; SHOW STARTS AT 8.
