Sonia Sotomayor discussing Just Ask! Be Different, Be Brave, Be You
Join us for an unforgettable evening with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor discussing her new book "Just Ask! Be Different, Be Brave, Be You".
In "Just Ask", Sonia Sotomayor celebrates the different abilities kids (and people of all ages) have. Using her own experience as a child who was diagnosed with diabetes, Sotomayor writes about children with all sorts of challenges - and looks at the special powers those kids have as well.
Those wishing to enter the signing line must have a copy of "Just Ask!: Be Different, Be Brave, Be You" or "¡Solo pregunta!: Sé Diferente, Sé Valiente, Sé Tú", the Spanish edition. In addition to signing these new books (required to enter the signing line), Sonia Sotomayor will also sign copies of her other books: "My Beloved World", "Turning Pages", and "The Beloved World of Sonia Sotomayor". All of the English and Spanish editions of the above titles will be available for purchase at the event. To ensure we get through everyone in the signing line, there will be no personalization and no photos with the author.
**Those who order and cannot attend the event may pick up their book at Joseph-Beth Booksellers starting at noon the day following the event. You can also call the bookstore at 513-396-8960 to arrange to have it shipped to you. Orders not picked up by 3 months after the event date will be forfeited.
To avoid distracting others during the event, photos and the use of recording or electronic devices will not be allowed. No large bags or backpacks are permitted into the event. All bags are subject to search.
