Light of Day: Dublin
The Light of Day Foundation, Inc., utilizes the power of music to raise money and awareness in its continuing battle to defeat Parkinsons disease and related illnesses such as PSP and ALS within our lifetime.

Since its inception in 2000, Light of Day has raised over $3 million in the fight to find a cure for Parkinsons disease. What began as a single concert in New Jersey has grown into approximately seventy shows in thirteen countries on 3 continents including North America, Europe and Australia!

Making Dublin their first pit stop of a 15 gig European Tour, Featured musicians this year include; Joe DUrso, Rob Dye, Guy Davis, James Maddock, 'Mad Dog' Vini Lopez, Ben Reel and Jane Willow.

Joe DUrso: one of the founding members of the Light of Day organization, Joe fronts his own band Joe DUrso & the Stone Caravan, an Americana/Jersey Shore/Rock & Roll band, they released their 13th CD on SCR/Schoolhouse Records, titled "Sway" in January 2013.

Rob Dye: Music has always been a part of New Jersey native Rob Dye's life. He logs over 150 shows a year, whether its as a duo or with a band playing covers along the Jersey Shore to touring the country and overseas. With feet firmly planted in the rich landscape of American music roots, Dyes music incorporates elements of rock, old school country, Stax-influenced R&B, gospel and more while remaining true to the essence of each style.

Vini "Mad Dog" Lopez: Between 1968 and 1974 Lopez backed Bruce Springsteen in several bands, including Steel Mill and the E Street Band. He also played on Springsteen's first two albums, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. and The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle. After leaving the E Street Band, Lopez went on to play drums with numerous Jersey Shore bands, including The Lord Gunner Group. In April 2014, Lopez was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the E Street Band.

James Maddock: The best singer-songwriters serve the song. The songwriters songwriter, James Maddock, who has earned the respect of masterful writers and has built his acclaimed legacy on humbly honouring purity of expression. He's performed with Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nile, Aaron Comess (Spin Doctors) and David Immergluck (Counting Crows), sang on an album with Susan McKeown, and has built a respected international profile through tireless touring from the Northeast US to Europe to Australia.

Guy Davis: An Ambassador Of The Blues
Guy Davis once said, I like antiques and old things, old places, that still have the dust of those whove gone before us lying upon them. Blowing that dust off just enough to see its beauty is something Guy has excelled at for over twenty years of song-writing and performing. Its no wonder his reverence for the music of the Blues Masters whove gone before him has been evident in every album hes ever recorded or concert hes given.

Ben Reel: In a solo career which now spans over 20 years, Ben has received worldwide critical acclaim with numerous high profile TV/Radio appearances like BBC, RTE and Dutch NPO Radio. Supporting Jools Holland, Alabama 3 & The Cranberries and he has collaborated musically with a number of high profile musicians. Since his debut album `This Is the Movie back in 1999, Ben has reinvented himself from album to album, influenced by different styles of music over the years. As one critic describes him as somewhere in the middle ground between rock and jazz or a sound that is sometimes reminiscent of Dylan and the Band. The Nashville Calling` is the title of his upcoming 9th studio album. It is due to be released early 2020. It features Garry W Tallent on bass from the legendary E Street Band.

Jane Willow: is a Dutch folk musician who moved to Ireland at age twenty-one to pursue music. Her music is laced with Leonard Cohen and Nick Drake influences. She experiments with folk and country elements, whilst keeping her rich, soft and velvet-like voice at center stage. In recent years Janes played an incredible amount of gigs, performing at Vicar Street, Whelans, Temple Bar Tradfest and Electric Picnic. Shes supported the likes of Glen Hansard, The Unthanks, Kíla, David Kitt and Mark Geary.
