Enjoy a night of good music and good stories! Ross King is flying in from Nashville to bring us a fun night as a community. He is best known for his long-term songwriting career with Centricity Music, and a new single, Things that Im Afraid Of, and has a great message on handling the stress in our lives today.
Ross King is an accomplished singer/songwriter and worship leader. He's also a regular person who has faced significant trauma and trial in his life. His experience includes a very real and prolonged struggle with depression and anxiety following the drowning death of his father. Now he's ready to speak, and sing, honestly about his emotional health battle. His new song, "Things That I'm Afraid Of", continues his journey of writing and performing authentic songs about the kinds of things that Christians are thinking, but may be afraid to say out loud. Ross is taking a fresh, and much-needed, message into our communities using a combination of real stories from his own life, powerful scriptures, disarming humor, and uniquely honest and well-crafted songs. He is inviting us to finally talk about, and bring Gospel healing to, issues that have previously been taboo under a church roof. Join us for an insightful, entertaining evening, and bring along a friend to encourage!
