A site-responsive performance presented at the Power House on the grounds of Central State Mansion
After decades of deforestation, habitat loss, and dwindling resources, it was the human wars that scorched the earth. Pushed to the edge of extinction, the birds began to fight back. After years of battle, the flock is at a crucial point and inner turmoil now poses a new challenge. The return of a renegade bird sends the flock into chaos while they fight to restore the balance for their own survival. Based on the Hitchcock classic, The Birds picks up a short time after the movie ends and immerses audiences into the feathered, dystopian future where over the top drama and out-of-this-world characters harken back to classic action films of the 1980's.
