Eel Pie Island - Boatyards and Bands on London's largest inhabited island
Event price includes Annual Membership 'Passport' (value £5) for unlimited visits to the Eel Pie Island Museum for 1 calendar year. The Eel Pie Island Museum celebrates all that has made this vibrant island so famous - from its unique working boatyards and creative community, to the significant part the Eel Pie Island Hotel played in the 1960s British Blues explosion, and how it helped superstars such as The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, David Bowie and many more kick start their musical careers. Meet at the Museum to then set off for Twickenham Embankment (2 mins' walk away). The fully illustrated tour will last approximately 1 hour. Return to the Museum to visit at your leisure. (Museum closes 6pm)
