Heyday Farm "Chef in the Garden Series" Featuring Chef Ben Jones
At The Heyday Farm House we are proud to welcome back guest Chef Ben Jones of Alderbrook Resort who will be joining us for the July "Chef's in the Garden Series". This Summer series has been as popular with our staff and visiting chefs as it has been with with the guests who have been enchanted with the edibles inside the garden, as well as inside the farm house.
In his role at the at Alderbrook Resort & Spa, Chef Jones is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operation while working to elevate the culinary program. His vision is inspired by fresh and clean cuisine with fresh catches, fresh harvest, and locally-sourced products at the center of his menu. Some of his favorite ingredients include Hatch chiles, a nod to his upbringing in Albuquerque, N.M., and the Pacific Northwests white truffles, fiddleheads and salmon, thanks to spending 11 years of his childhood in Rogue River, Ore.
Back at the farm, the garden is bursting with possibilities, the chefs are talking "fresh lists", and it is officially Summer in the Pacific Northwest. Time to sip, savor & relax with old friends and new at our lively community tables and engaging chef's counter.
Guests will be greeted with a welcoming bite & sip of bubbles and invited to stroll the farm gardens. The chefs will share stories of their dishes and inspirations that come from all the culinary opportunities of our region, then everyone will make their way inside for the meal. Chef Ben and Chef Tad will serve a 5-course meal designed and prepared in collaboration to highlight the flavors of the Pacific Northwest bounty at the height of the season.
Price includes a 5 course meal, welcoming bubbles, and gratuity. All tickets are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another person for this event. In the event of a cancellation by guest chef or the dinner in general, full purchase price shall be refunded.
Wine can be purchased by the glass or bottle during dinner service.
