Five Play and EUX (SF Improv Festival 2013)
Two Hilarious troupes at the 2013 SF Improv Festival.
Five Play is the popular East Bay long-form improv group that has been captivating audiences around the Bay Area since 2009. Since 2010, they have performed regularly as the core group at Made Up Theatre in Fremont. The cast members have improvised together since 2005, and their chemistry as a group creates a unique and high energy improv show. Five Play Improv's show format consists of a fully improvised story inspired by a made up title. This is their fourth year performing at the San Francisco Improv Festival.
EUX Compagnie d'Improvisation was born in 2006 from an hungry desire to cross the classical borders of french improvisation. From short to long form, from directed improvisation to interactive thriller, the group has now created more than 10 different forms that they have regularly performed in and outside France. Their shows aim at telling stories, invented or discovered on the spot, narratively and organically built. The EUX ensemble tells the audience compelling stories, intertwined together to create thoughts and emotions, laughters and chills. The SFIF 2013 will give them a new opportunity to create once again one of those stories.
