Ok: Occasionally, but rarely do three legends of trad music come together so explosively. I mean seriously. Just click on video below to understand what I mean, and that's only two thirds of the group. Add in Donegal Maestro, and Danu veteran (and Berklee faculty) Oisin McAuley and you can imagine what the result will be.

And as if that wasn't enough, Dermy and Tara Diamond will open. They are husband and wife team with family that is trad music royalty. A venerable and widely respected combination of Co. Down and Belfast. A treasure in its own right, but I can only imagine the collaboration this night at the end! Wow.

The Burren Backroom series is now well established as one of the most sought-after boutique series of trad presentation in the world. It has already created already dozens of memorable, intimate, informal presentations held in a truly atmospheric space which was founded by well-known traditional musicians Tommy McCarthy and Louise Costello in Davis Square, Somerville, Massachusetts.
Hosted by Brian O'Donovan of A Celtic Sojourn on WGBH radio, these gatherings feature core performers from many aspects of traditional music as well as special guests, and conversations around the music. As is the custom of the Burren, it is anticipated informal and dynamic post concert sessions will be a feature.
