Daphane Nelson and Joseph Stoltz are students of the online CoopZone Advanced Cooperative Development course. Halfway through this two-year program, they seek to encourage and grow the cooperative movement within the BC Interior Region.
Daphane has lived in the BC Interior for most of her life and sees cooperative development here as 'a way forward' for those trying to make ends meet on their own. Cooperatives form when communities come together seeking to fill a gap, whether a service, a product or an employment opportunity.
Joseph hails from a venture capital, small business development/incubation and property background in South Africa. He currently works with the Agency for Cooperative Housing in Burnaby.
These two have teamed up to combine forces and energy to bring an interactive seminar and workshop about how to bring co-operative housing opportunities to Kamloops.
