Each August, EncoreMichigan honors the best productions, best performances, best scripts, best tech creations and stagecraft.

On August 26, we will gather at The Hilberry Theatre at Wayne State University for the annual gala. The social networking hour begins at 6PM, and the award program will begin at 7:30.

The program will include performances by some of the leading performers and nominated actors in the state.

There will be light food that is included with the ticket.

Water and soft drinks will be just $1 per.

Alcohol will be served, but is only for sale in advance or at the door (for cash only) by buying a drink bracelet. No cash will be transacted by the bartenders. Drink/alcohol bracelets will be $22.00. Please buy in advance if you wish to drink alcohol.

The Hilberry Theater is located at 4743 Cass Avenue, Detroit.

Parking is available at two pay-supervised lots on Cass, as well as on the street on surrounding blocks to the theatre.
