The farm-to-fork movement is inspiring people to get back to the fundamentals of living in harmony with nature. If you're considering a venture into the world of homesteading, there are a few small ways you can begin to explore. Anvil Acre Farm is a suburban Sacramento homestead. Anne will help you create a plan for your own beginner homestead - no matter what your skill level. We'll discuss food preservation, rotational gardening, livestock selection and care, homemade products, skills to acquire, property size and layout, and much more.

Class will be held at Soil Born Farms American River Ranch 2140 Chase Drive in Rancho Cordova.

Class is 3 hours long.                       Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable with less than 48 hours notice. Cash, check or gift card paying customers, please call the Co-op registration line (916-868-6399) to cancel and get a refund or transfer to a different class.
