Leewok V Music & Arts Festival
We are hosting our 5th annual fundraising event on Saturday, September 7th.

Leewok Music & Arts Festival is an all ages event boasting all-day live music, BBQ dinner, activities for kids, and a silent auction of artwork donated by regional artists are all included in the $35 ticket price. Beer & Wine will be served in the evening. Leewok is an outdoor event running from 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM (rain or shine). Kids 12 and under are FREE!

OpenMIND is a budding, local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to bringing awareness to mental health and suicide in our region. The suicide rate in North Dakota has risen by over 70% over the last ten years and has become a real daunting issue in our communities. We lost our brother Lee Randall to suicide nearly nine years ago, and feel there is an underlying stigma against addressing mental health/suicide within our culture. We need to work together to change this.

The goal of OpenMIND is to implement and promote mindfulness education in children these techniques have been proven to increase optimism and happiness in classrooms, decrease bullying and aggression, increase compassion and empathy for others and help students resolve conflicts. Our hope is to give the kids some tools they can use anytime: tools to calm down, slow down and feel better when they are troubled. Imagine if all the children around the Earth learned to use these tools during their childhoods. What a change our world would experience within just one generation

-no outside alcohol
-no glass
-use of illegal drugs is not permitted, anyone using illegal drugs will be subject to removal from the event and will not be allowed back in.
