Sigaw
Sigaw (Scream, Shout, Cry) A Shadowplay
About: A fictional story of the journey of a Filipina domestic worker in the diaspora. The export of care has haunted the Filipina narrative, but what happens when care hits a breaking point? Sigaw, meaning scream, shout, or cry, is the story of Marissa. She is a composite character based on the controversial article of the tragic experience of Eudocia Tomas Pulido, and interviews with current domestic workers.
