Sarah Christine Time To Shine Album Release
Sarah Christine is a visionary songwriter and songstress on a mission to uplift, empower and inspire others through music. Her new album Time To Shine is a collection of songs that soulfully weaves the flavors of funk, folk & reggae with lyrics that speak directly to the listeners Soul. It's a loving wake up call where she reminds us to live in the present moment, pursue our dreams, be grateful and share our gifts with the world. The album consists of 11 original compositions where Sarah performed lead vocals, stacked harmonies, acoustic guitar, piano, synthesizer and percussion. It also features a diverse and supportive cast of 13 different local musicians and was engineered, produced, mixed and mastered by the legendary Martin Feveyear at his studio on Vashon Island, WA.
Sarah Christine and her band will perform the album in it's entirety along with some of her previously released material to create a celebratory and uplifting evening of music.

The evocative, angelic voice of Sarah Christine is a loving wake up call that opens the heart and activates transformation while beckoning the listener inward to remember their own truth within. Sarah Christine is a visionary songstress, soulful siren, composer, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist with a deep desire to facilitate connection and healing on the planet through music. She is a passionate lover of life and catalyst for change who uses music to create authentic, uplifting experiences that ignite the senses & penetrates the soul. Her unique sound is an out of the box tapestry that blends Acoustic Soul, Reggae, R&B and Gospel to provide an upbeat yet soothing soundscape for her enchanting vocals to soar over. Whether performing solo acoustic or with a full band, her shining presence radiates while delivering conscious lyrical affirmations intended to stimulate awakening and empowerment.
Nestled in the peace and tranquility of the Pacific Northwest, Sarah Christine has called Vashon Island, WA home for the past 20 years. She is a wife, mother of three, avid gardener, chef and activist who has also worked as a labor support doula welcoming over 50 babies into the world with song. Her passion for travel and music has lead her all along the West Coast, as well as to Hawaii, Jamaica, China and most recently Bali where she teamed up with Michael Franti at his retreat center Soulshine. Exploring the world with music at the forefront is dream coming true!
Sarah Christine loves sharing her work at festivals, yoga gatherings, Unity churches, private retreats, conferences, workshops and more. When performing without the support of a backing band, her self taught skills on guitar, piano and percussion accompany her soulful vocals conveying a depth of intimacy and complexity that has been compared to Eva Cassidy, India Arie and Joni Mitchell.
In alignment with her mission to inspire and help others, Sarah Christine leads voice empowerment sessions to groups and individuals. Her holistic teaching approach brings awareness to the habits, beliefs and tension that can block self expression from flowing freely. Drawing from the wisdom and techniques of transformational breath work, yoga, meditation, visualization, chakra toning, mantras and improvisation, she intuitively guides others to harness their personal power and reclaim their voice.
Over the years Sarah Christine has been blessed to share the stage with some of her favorite artists such as Michael Franti, Mike Love, Prezident Brown, Clinton Fearon, Saritah, Shook Twins, John Craigie, Publish The Quest, Warrior King, Shimshai and more. She has been featured at numerous festivals and NW venues including: Northwest Folklife Festival, Conscious Culture Festival, True Nature Yoga Fest, Northwest Roots Festival, Wealthy Goddess Live, Jazzbones, Nectar Lounge, Columbia City Theater, Breitenbush Retreat Center and Triple Door Main Stage. She also performs regularly at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport where she caught the attention of the legendary Stevie Wonder who sought her out after hearing her distinctive voice wafting throughout the terminal.
Sarah Christine's most recent single WE ARE ONE is a soul resonating anthem of unity consciousness and connection. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the song is donated to The Unstoppable Foundation, a non-profit organization working to create sustainable solutions to the eradication of poverty in Kenya, Liberia and Uganda. Through education, clean water, healthcare, nutrition and income training, this foundation is helping to change lives everyday.
Summer 2019 will celebrate the release of Sarah Christine's highly anticipated third album Time To Shine produced by Martin Feveyear.
