In 1979, when they started selling tapes out of the back of their van at crafts fairs, Dudley and Dean Evenson had no idea 40 years later their music for the healing arts would be listened to over a billion times.

2019 marks an exciting chapter in the Soundings of the Planet story as they are celebrating their 40th anniversary of spreading Peace Through Music. Highlights of this anniversary year include the hardcopy and e-book release of Quieting the Monkey Mind, multiple new musical projects, and a PTM featured 40th anniversary sampler. Additionally in 2019, Soundings of the Planet will release never before seen video/audio material from their travels around the world meeting other ambassadors of peace. By the end of the year Soundings of the Planet intends to create an app to act as a home base for the plethora of multi-media content created and compiled on their journey.
