Playing Dead faithfully recreates the experience of a live Grateful Dead concert. The music of The Grateful Dead is a complex stew of different styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, folk, bluegrass and more. Their improvisational style and large repertoire guaranteed that every musical performance would be unique. Every Playing Dead show is equally unique featuring different set lists each night and exciting improvisational jams.
DB Jams Tab:
Dave Brunyak (formerly Pink Talking Fish), with his new Languedoc guitar, channels his hero in a spirited and authentic tribute to Trey Anastasio Band with a talented group of Boston based musicians.
Rust Never Sleeps:
Born from the passion to perform Neil Young's music, and living up to the example set forth by Neil himself, Rust lives to find the magic and follow the muse each and every time they take the stage. Performing music from every period of Neil Young's career, each night becomes a unique and special experience.
Hayley Janes performance is layered with raw intensity + linguistic prowess. She has a deeply emotive + highly magnetizing presence thats generating a serious buzz in the industry. Hayley pulls inspiration from a variety of styles, including 60s/70s rock + pop, musical theater, folk, blues, soul, reggae, psychedelic, funk, bluegrass + country. Hayley's on-stage energy + theatrics draw her crowds into a vivid landscape of emotion. She reawakens her audiences to the wild parts of the soul - medicine so needed in these modern times.
