Organic Agronomy Training Series-Central 2019
NOTE: As of Saturday, August 10 ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. However, walk-ins are welcome! Please come to the Radisson Hotel in La Crosse by 8:30AM Weds, Aug 14 to register and join us. Cost will be $95.
This 2-day training will increase the skill and impact of extension staff, agency personnel, consultants, advisers, educators, and technical service providers on organic production systems and USDA-NOP regulatory compliance. The program will build participants knowledge base in all key areas of certified organic production.
This series is generously supported by Pipeline Foods, Clif Bar and the Organic Trade Associations Organic Grains Council.
We will begin with a full program of classroom discussions and farmer panels on Wednesday, August 14 highlighting the basics of successful organic production. Continuing Thursday morning, the program will be followed by an afternoon in the field on a nearby certified organic farm.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided on both Wednesday and Thursday. Evening suppers are on your own. Buses will transport us to the farm on Thursday. 9.5 CEU credits are available for classroom sessions and the field tour. Registration is $85 per person before August 8, 2019. Cost will go up to $95 for on-site registrations.
The event will take place at the La Crosse, Wis. Radisson Hotel, 200 Harborview Plaza. Sleeping rooms are not included in the registration price.
