ALIAS - October 2008
ALIAS launches its 2008-2009 season with an unusual and varied program of chamber music. On the first half are the Four Songs by Andre Previn for soprano, cello, and piano, along with the Franck violin sonata. The second half of the program marks the beginning of a focus on women composers, with a Sonatina for oboe and piano by Vivian Fine and a string quartet by Margaret Brouwer.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Second Harvest Kids Cafe.
