Kelley/Rogers, Guitars: Jazz/Spanish Fusion -- Beltaine: Celtic Fusion

David Rogers and David Elan Kelley play a program of jazz and
contemporary improvisation. Music by J. S. Bach, Luiz Bonfa, Chick Corea, Paul Desmond, Steve Kuhn, John Mclaughlin, Pat Metheny, Ralph Towner, Rogers, Kelley and others will be performed.

Termed a prominent guitarist by The New York Times and praised by The Washington Post for his astonishingly florid improvisations, David Rogers is an endorsing artist for GHS Strings. His music has been featured in major guitar magazines such as Fingerstyle Guitar in the United States and Akustic Gitarre, in Germany. Additionally, his solo and ensemble performances have been broadcast on American National Public Radio and Bayrische Rundfunk. David has recorded for Dorian, Callisto and Focus Recordings.

David Elan Kelley is a professional guitarist and vocalist who performs and composes in a wide variety of styles including Rock, Pop, Classical, Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop and Contemporary Instrumental. Élan holds a masters degree in classical guitar performance from Portland State University where he graduated with the highest honors. David is also an established veteran of the Portland club and winery scene.

Beltaine is a Celtic Fusion band from Portland, Oregon that features hammered dulcimer, guitar, accordion, flute and pennywhistle. Performing both instrumental and vocal tunes, Beltaine offers a unique blend of instrumentation and musical styles. The original and traditional music performed by Beltaine is inspired from Celtic, folk, rock and classical sources. The members of Beltaine approach their music with passion and energy.
