Wine to Water - a Fundraiser for Nepal

Please join us down at the lake for an evening of wine, jazz, food and fundraising. The Lake Union Crew Outreach Foundation and its volunteers are hosting this event to raise funds to support our Nepal volunteer efforts.

Our volunteers will spend 5 weeks in October and November 2013 working side by side with local community members to:

* Install a cluster of interconnected 10,000 liter tanks which can be added to over time if needed
* Dig and lay piping to collect water from below-ground springs and surface rainwater
* Install solar pumps with piping to a higher ground distribution tank

We are pleased to welcome Northwest Swing, part of the Boeing Employees' Concert Band, as our entertainment for the evening. In addition to great jazz, Lake Union will provide its own entertainment in the form of "Duck Dodge" - August 6th is Team Spirit Night - what a night to watch the sailboats!

Appetizer catering will be provided by our great friends at Eastlake Bar and Grill. Wine provided by our generous friends at Columbia Winery. Water and soda provided by our amazing Costco team.

Admission is $35 (includes 3 wine tickets) - all proceeds will benefit the Nepal International Service Project. Additional wine tickets may be purchased on premise for $5.
