Slightly Off Stage was conceived and created by dance artist Ana Maria Lucaciu, and Fly on a Wall Founder, Nathan Griswold. In their first collaboration together,. Lucaciu and Griswold dive into the world of the absurd using a rich palette of contemporary movement, clowning and theatrical play. Employing a series of moving exchanges and negotiations, the piece speaks to the adaptation to a world thrown off kilter. Slightly Off Stage premiered in the winter of 2018 at the National Theatre Festival in Bucharest, Romania. Fly on a wall is proud to present the finished work for the first time in North America to an Atlanta audience.
The evening is made possible with support from Metro Parks Nashville, Kaatsbaan International Dance Center, Fly on a Wall and Windmill Arts Center.
Parking can be in front of the theater, on any of the nearby residential streets, and in the lot across the street from the center.
